The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of banned rituals and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret group.

The questline focuses on "peculiar tests and a fearsome adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
